Canadian Warrants: CW is an
undertaking to repay the transportation loan
obtained from the Canadian Government. The
Government is represented by the Citizenship
Immigration Canada (CIC). Having no Canadian Embassy
in Azerbaijan, IOM works in close cooperation with
the visa section of the embassy in Ankara,
accredited to Azerbaijan. IOM provides processing
and transportation services to the UNHCR refugees or
individuals of a humanitarian designated classes
accepted by Canada. Similar to the USRAP, IOM is
responsible for the health assessments and
pre-departure treatment of certain health conditions
of both refugees and other categories of migrants
(self-payers) before resettlement. Medical
assessment is performed by Designated Medical
Practitioner (DMP) who is a local doctor selected by
the Canadian Government.
Immigration Loan is signed by
migrants before departure promising to repay an
established amount, which includes medical and
travel expenses and IOM Service Fee.

marketing. If you see any offers using IOM's
name or referring to IOM, please inform your
nearest IOM office.
